My name is Gina and I am based in West Lothian, Scotland. I can provide a warm, accepting, welcoming space for you to explore anything that is troubling you. The safe and confidential space is there for you to explore difficult issues, feelings and life experiences.
About Me
How I work
I am qualified and accredited to work with children, young people and adults.
I am a pluralistic counsellor which means that I work with a number of modalities - person-centred, humanistic, transactional analysis, psychodynamic and CBT approaches. I will also work with psychoeducational tools and resources. I am a visual learner and acknowledge that everyone learns in different ways and I will adapt and suggest different approaches as needed. I will encourage you to look for recurring themes or patterns in our work together. I am also able to use motivational interviewing.
You are the expert of your own experience, your past, your present and your future. I will not tell you what to do but be that guiding, validating presence to support you moving forward. Working collaboratively helps you make authentic decisions and build self-trust in your life.
